Larrivee SD-40 Rosewood

A 12-fret neck design and rounded body edges give the SD-40R a more compact, comfortable feel than most full-scale length dreadnoughts. The 12-fret design also places the sound hole closer to the center of the guitar's scale, giving it a warmer sound. A Sitka Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides give the guitar extra bass punch and treble projection, resulting in a full tone that richly rewards an aggressive right-hand technique. The SD-40R also sports some beautiful appointments, including rope-style purfling, a pyramid bridge, and Larrivee's "Vine" headstock inlay pattern.
