Randee’s Music is honored to introduce this rare 1966 Gibson ES-335TD! This model offered an alternative beyond the standard ES 335 finishes. Since its arrival on the scene, The Gibson ES 335 SemiHollow body has been integral to most every genre of music. This axe gives you that iconic clean sound that is rich and airy, but still able to provide an aggressive bite when combined with distortion. You’ll love the aesthetic sunburst finish that makes it look as good as it plays.
We’re listing this guitar conservatively in good condition; others might list it as very good. As expected from a vintage guitar, some slight dings and marks are evident as photographed. There’s also minor finish checking along the body, but absolutely no cracks or fissures. It features all the original electronics, with the solder points being untouched. The origin of this piece of art is lost to history except for the name on the case: “Tommy.”
