1977 Ibanez 591 FB

Made in Japan in 1977, this vintage Ibanez banjo was designed to emulate classic Gibson banjo designs, both tonally and visually, including ornate, Gibsonesque inlays. The inclusion of a resonator gives it the loud, bright tone that defines bluegrass banjo. Other than the scratches on the back of the resonator (please see photos), this banjo has aged beautifully, and still looks and sounds great!
