Martin DSS-17

With the DSS-17, Martin doffs their cap to some of the designs Martin produced in the 1930s. Struggling under the weight of the Great Depression, most Americans could not afford top of the line guitars, such as Martin's more famous D-18 or D-28. Thus, Martin began producing more affordable guitars, such as their 17 series, to provide their unmatched tone and American-made craftsmanship at more manageable prices, and the DSS-17 continues that tradition today. Made in Pennsylvania, with a solid Spruce top and solid Mahogany back & sides, this guitar delivers the USA-Martin tone and vintage aesthetic at an affordable price point!
