Larrivee D-40R JCL Special Edition

Like the standard D-40R, this limited-edition dreadnought features a Sitka Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back & sides. Like most Larrivees, this guitar sports a set of beautifully etched open-gear tuners, diamond fret markers, and maple binding. A beautiful inlay of Larrivee's "JCL" logo rests in the fingerboard at the twelfth fret, visually differentiating this guitar from the standard D-40R. This particular model is designed to master the bluegrass sound, with each piece of wood and its scalloped hybrid bracing chosen with that purpose in mind. As such, this guitar produces a mighty voice, with strong bass and a clarity that makes fast lead lines sound clean and smooth.
