Larrivee D-40 Koa/Moon Spruce

One of a VERY limited production run, this Larrivee combines ornate appointments with raw power. Perhaps the most definitive feature of this guitar is the luxuriant flamed Koa back and sides, which provide it with a warm, inviting tone and show-stopping looks. An Austrian Spruce top further brightens and projects that tone. Furnished with these great woods, Larrivee's take on the classic dreadnought body shape packs an explosive punch, with a cannon-like bass response and full, articulate trebles. Other features include Larrivee's Torch headstock inlay, maple binding on the neck and body, and a hardshell case for maximum protection.
